Skip SizesYou may have come across various terms to describe skip sizes such as ‘midi’ or ‘6 yard’, but what do they actually mean? It can be confusing and ultimately, the best way to decide is to contact us for advice: 01293 908 535.
Here is a brief guide to give you an idea what all the jargon means! The most common skip sizes are: 2 yard, 4 yard, 6 yard, 8 yard and 10 yard. It’s important to note that skips can only be filled up to the height of the sides with no overflow. This is also known as ‘level loads only’ and is a mandatory requirement. If you are unsure that you will meet these criteria, it is wise to select a larger size.
